Did you know that Preikestolen or "preacher's pulpit" once was used for pagan rituals? I can't imagine what they used to do up there! What I know instead is that the climb took less than 2 hours. We did not stop our fast walk, we wanted to reach the Preikestolen view as soon as possible. Like drug addicted, overtook a lots of people walking and stopping everywhere. The gift we found once arrived was breathtaking...Preikestolen deals more with sky than with earth. It's definitively closer to heaven than every other place high in the sky we ever visited. Tha panorama has something magic and scary. Before you can realise it, you stand six hundred meters before your sight reaches the deep blue fjord sea. In the middle of this fast run, all the emotions that your soul tasted all along your life explode in one second. Preikestolen is all in that magic emotional and everlasting second. I'm very lucky, I can still share that second with the girl that was there with me that magic day. Miss you...Preikestolen
