Villa Cleopatra is an elegant and welcoming two-story villa built sheer above the sea. It sleeps ten people. From Villa Cleopatra you will enjoy a charming view of the sea and of the coast from Positano to Punta Campanella, the western tip of the Sorrentine peninsula, and of the island of Capri at the horizon. Villa Cleopatra is 500 square meters (5380 square feet). It features a private swimming pool, direct access to the beach and to the sea, a nice private terrace with a view of the sea, a private garden, air conditioning and winter heating.
You will be roughly 1 km (0.6 miles) from the center of Positano, a few steps from the stop for the SITA bus and for the local bus and the beach. You will find a number of restaurants at 1 km (roughly 1100 yards) and shops at 1.5 km (roughly 1 mile). You will reach Villa Cleopatra from the street level going down a stairway which consists of approximately 36 steps.
You will not need a car to stay at Villa Cleopatra. If you do have one, you will be able to park it along the public roads (the actual distance might vary depending on the availability of parking spaces) or in a private parking lot downtown (where a space can be reserved).
Direct Access to the Sea
From Villa Cleopatra you will have a direct access to the sea and to a public sandy beach. You will reach it going down a public walkway that is cut into the rocky cliff and includes approximately 260 stairway steps.
Swimming Pool
The swimming pool is 2.7 meters (8.8 feet) large by 7 meters (23 feet) long, from 1 meter (3.3 feet) to 1.8 meters (6 feet) deep. In the swimming pool area you will also find a Jacuzzi pool with hydromassage (1.8 by 3 meters, 6 by 9.8 feet). The swimming pool area is equipped with a table, chairs, sun loungers and an external shower. From the swimming pool you will enjoy a fascinating view of the sea.
Terrace 1
The first terrace is on the bottom floor. It is 25 square meters (270 square feet) large. You will be able to enter it from the garden. It is partly shaded by a porch. It is equipped with tables, chairs and deck chairs. From the terrace you will enjoy a breathtaking view of the sea and of the small Li Galli islands.
Terrace 2
The second terrace is on the top floor. It is 25 square meters (270 square feet) large. You will be able to enter it from the living room through a French door. It is partly shaded by a perfumed wisteria pergola. It is equipped with a table, chairs, deck chairs and sun loungers. From the terrace you will enjoy a charming view of the sea and of the coast from Positano to Punta Campanella, the western tip of the Sorrentine peninsula, and of the island of Capri at the horizon.
Garden
The garden is 300 square meters (3230 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by trees and pergolas. It is equipped with a table, chairs, sun loungers and an external shower. From the garden you will enjoy a view of the sea.
Living Room
You will find the living room on the top floor. The floor is paved with hand-made majolica tiles, in the characteristic style of the Amalfi Coast. The furnishings are elegant and bright. They include two sofas and two armchairs. The dining table can accommodate ten guests. In this room you will find a large flat-screen satellite television. From the living room you will be able to enter the large terrace with a view of the sea and of Positano through two double-glazed French doors. The room is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Kitchen
You will find the kitchen on the top floor. You will be able to enter it from the living room. It is professional-grade, equipped with a six-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a large refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave oven, an Italian-style coffee-maker, an American-style coffee-maker (bring your filters!), a toaster and other small appliances.
Bedroom 1 with en-suite bathroom
The first bedroom is located on the top floor. You will be able to enter it from the corridor. The floor is paved with lucid sky-blue majolica tiles. The furnishings are elegant and refined, and include some antique pieces. The room has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/62 inches, wider than a queen-size bed), that can be split into twins if requested.
